United Way has a rich legacy of trust and collective impact in our communities—mobilizing resources, building volunteerism, delivering lasting results.
Philanthropy and community needs have changed due to huge shifts in social priorities, demographics, pay scales, workplace culture, ways to engage and available resources.
Our three United Ways have been working together on shared efforts for nearly a decade—from joint campaign kickoffs to cross-staff engagement in resource development, finance, and community impact, to shared human resources management.
Our communities are distinctive in many ways, yet they share similar needs, challenges, and dynamics. We believe we can accomplish more together than we can separately—now and in the long term, both locally and regionally.
A “merger of equals” preserves our unique relationships, identities, and impact in our local communities—dollars raised locally will be invested locally—while leveraging our shared values and strengths to tap new resources and grow our results.
